Lexar has announced its 128GB Echo SE USB drive which comes with auto-backup capability that will automatically back up your entire hard drive once it’s plugged into the computer.
With only 128GB storage capacity, it’s suitable for backing up the data of your notebooks or computers that have a HDD or SSD not more than 120GB. The little worry is having to wait for it to finish backing up the entire hard drive. The Echo SE USB drive is said to reach a read speed and write speed of 28MB/s and 10MB/s respectively. But this will still take a considerable amount of time, even just to backup all the data on a 30 percent-full 40GB or 80GB HDD.
