Asus has announced a new 3D monitor which uses the nVidia Vision 3D to deliver 3D contents. The Asus 3D monitor requires you to use a pair of the active shutter glasses to enjoy the 3D. The high refresh rate of this Asus 3D monitor and alternate-frame sequencing shall make this monitor pretty smooth for 3D.
Other than the 3D capability, the Asus VG236H is a 23-inch monitor which is able to deliver a full HD 1080p resolution (1920×1080). The monitor also has a refresh rate of 120Hz, a response time of 2ms and a 400 nits brightness. The monitor supports various inputs including HDMI, DVI and analog component video.
The Asus VG236H 3D monitor will be available in UK for a price of £380.36 ($582). The nVidia 3D vision kit comes included, which allows you to enjoy 3D right away.
