It’s definitely not advisable to text on your phone while you’re walking or especially you’re driving. You should keep your attention on the road or wheels but not on your phone. But if you’re an overly busy geek which you must reply your SMS while you’re walking, there is an Android application that allows you to do so on your Android handset.
Called the Road SMS, this application uses the built-in camera of your Android handset to capture what’s in front of you and puts it as a background on the screen while you’re texting. So this allows you to see what’s coming up even if you’re focused on your phone while you’re typing away a text message.
The app is available on Samsung App store, comes pre-installed on a Samsung Galaxy S i9000. Anyway, the best is not to text while you’re walking as the device’s camera is unable to capture what’s on the sides or from behind.
