iAds let iOS developer make $1,400 per day

If you’re a good iOS developer and you can develop innovative applications for the iPhone iOS 4, you’ll be able to make lots of money from the iAds. One of the iOS developers, Jason Ting, who has developed an iPhone 4 app that allows the LED flash of the iPhone 4 to be used as a flashlight. A free version of the application is integrated with iAds and allows him to make $1,372.20 in just one day with iAd.

The figure $1,372.20 was achieved on July 7 which he had about 9,300 iAd impressions, a double-digit 11.8% CTR and an eCPM as high as $147.55. These figures are definitely far more impressive than any Google AdSense on your blog or other web portals. And there are a number of big brands becoming the advertisers for the iAds such as AT&T, Nissan, Best Buy, Citi, Unilever, Sears, Target and JC Penney. Apple takes 40% and 60% will go to the developers.

The high eCPM and CTR are mostly due to the iAds are still new to the users who haven’t yet developed any ad blindness. It’s believed that the figures should go down once more users have developed ad blindness, which they’ll avoid clicking the iAds. Take a look at the video below that shows the Nissan iLeaf iAd.
