Oregon Scientific has a new rugged camera, ATC9K, which is specially designed for the adventurous. The device is capable of recording video at full HD 1080p, has a 5-megapixel sensor for photo and is waterproof up to 20m.
The ATC9K also packs other features including an Infrared remote, optional GPS and integrated G-meter. Apparently, this device is handy for those who’re filled with intensive outdoor activities. The optional GPS of this device allow you to combine it with Google Maps to mark your adventures on the map.
Oregon Scientific is better known for their weather station. But there is no indication whether this rugged cam packs any weather telling capabilities. Price has not been mentioned yet but the device is expected to ship in just a few days’ time.
