A classic white version of the PS3 Slim, model CECH-2500, has been announced by Sony in the Japan and is expected to be released on July 29. The classic white model will have a 160GB HDD and be priced around $400 (34,980 yen).
This classic white model was already hinted by a list presented by FCC earlier on, which disclosed model numbers of new chipsets and did include the model CECH-2500. No details about when this model will reach the rest of the world.
