Palm Foleo was supposed to be the first netbook in the industry and Palm was also the first one to have launched a netbook. But unfortunately the Palm Foleo was marketed as a mobile companion to go with your smart phones. In fact the device packs pretty decent specs that a netbook has.
The Palm Foleo is powered by a 416 MHz Intel/Marvell PXA27x processor, it has 10-inch widescreen with max resolution of 1024×600, a Marathon 2700G graphics, 128MB RAM, 256MB ROM, SD card slot, a CompactFlash card slot that supports up to 4GB, full QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, USB port and it runs Linux.
But Palm Foleo wasn’t launched by Palm due to criticism from industry. Anyway this mobile companion aka the first netbook was spotted on eBay for a price of $750. If you want one just hit the “Buy now” button to get yours! Oops! But it seems to have been delisted!
