Verizon Wireless will soon have a messaging and social networking phone coming its way. It’s the Pantech Jest, which will come equipped with a slide-out QWERTY that is made focused for messaging, picture, video and voice messaging. And it’ll be loaded with apps for Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.
The Pantech Jess has a 2.6-inch TFT screen and it allows the users to customize the icons according to their preference. It has a 2-megapixel camera that is capable of shooting still images and videos. The phone will be offered free online and priced at $70 after a $50 mail-in rebate while it’s sold in stores starting July 5.
