LG has announced its FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) enabled cellphone, LG LU4500, for the Korea market. The LU4500 makes use of the FMC technology that allows it to be used at any location via the cellular and fixed networks

The LG LU4500 has a screen size of 3 inches with WQVGA resolution, is capable of handling VOIP calls, and is available in a number of funky colors including lime, violet and pink that suit the younger generations. The phone also has a microSD card slot for more memory up to 16GB, is equipped with WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, a T-DMB tuner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The battery life of the LG LU4500 is moderate which provides only 150 minutes of talk time and 180 hours of standby. The official price has not been announced but it’s highly expected to be priced in the range of 600,000 KRW ($491) and 700,000 KRW ($573). No indication if it’ll be headed to the US or Europe.
