Sonim XP3 Sentinel rugged phone designed for worker safety

Sonim has announced another rugged phone in its line. Called the Sonim XP3 Sentinel, the rugged handset is said to be specially designed for worker safety. The handset is able to survive a drop from 2 meters onto concrete and being submerged in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. It also operates in a wide rage of temperatures from -20 to +55 Celsius.

Toshiba Libretto W100 notebook packs dual screens and runs Windows 7

Toshiba has also announced a mini dual-screen notebook called the Toshiba Libretto W100 and is claimed to be the first of its kind that packs dual screens (one on top and one at the bottom). The device comes in a clamshell form factor which has two 7-inch touchscreens, and it runs Windows 7 OS.

Toshiba outs Android 2.1-powered AC100 smartbook

Toshiba has readied a smartbook called the Toshiba AC100 which has been made to run Android 2.1 OS. And its specialty is to be able to wake up from standby mode in less than a second.

The Toshiba AC100 comes in a regular netbook form factor that packs a 10.1-inch screen and it packs Internet connectivity that allows you to edit emails, documents and other messages.

The other impressive feature is its battery life which can last for up to 7 days while it’s in standby mode. But it’s able to provide 8 hours of usage after a single charge, which still sounds impressive for a netbook. The features at a glance of this Toshiba AC100 are as follows:

LG unveils first solar hybrid residential air conditioner

New Xbox 360 confirmed for $199, with Kinect as a bundle

An official source says that Microsoft has confirmed the new Xbox 360 to be coming in the fall with a price of $199. This new Xbox 360 is meant to replace the current version, $149 Arcade, which is no longer in production.

OnLive – the online gaming service that allows you to play any game titles anywhere and use any computer, have announced their launch in the US. This online gaming service defines itself as “gaming in the cloud”, is different from conventional gaming, which you don’t need a separate game console and you can use any computer to play anywhere as long as you’re connected to the Internet.
