Samsung shows some interest in healthcare buusiness by having introduced a compact blood tester called the IVD-A10A. The Samsung IVD-A10A blood tester comes in a comparatively smaller size, measuring 250×350×250mm, but it claims to be faster and more accurate than traditional blood testers.
The Samsung tester requires only 12 minutes for common blood testings including checking level of cholesterol, glucose and other items in the blood, which is a huge improvement while compared to conventional method that will take much longer time to test. Samsung is serious and confirmed to invest 1.2 trillion Won (about 1 billion USD) in developing and manufacturing the breakthrough medical devices.
