Seagate has now got lots of space as much as 3 terabytes for your data by having announced their latest 3TB FreeAgent GoFlex Desk drive; a hard drive that is capable of storing of equivalent of 120 HD movies.
With such a high storage capacity the Seagate 3TB comes natively with a USB 2.0 connection, which is a little drawback. But you’ll still have a chance to upgrade it to support faster speeds of FireWire 800 or USB 3.0 via an external adapter from Seagate.
The 3TB external desk drive is compatible for both Windows and Mac. There is also a driver available from Seagate which allows NTFS or Windows-formatted file system to be readable and writable on a Mac machine, if you’re unwilling to have it formatted for the Mac’s HFS+ file system.
The 3TB drive costs you $250 while additional interfaces will cost from $20 to $50. If you’ve always been running out of disk space, this will probably temporarily satisfy your need for a couple of months or years.
