The solar football is equipped with custom-shaped solar panels that can collect solar energy to power the electronics embedded in the football. These custom-shaped solar panels are as efficient as the regular panels and they can be shaped into nearly any design and come in a range of colors.
The custom-shape solar panels will see other potential or useful applications such as being integrated into houses and vehicles without sacrificing any designs. These innovative solar panels are the products of the Taiwanese company, Greendix.
