Samsung has got four new LED-backlit monitors announced in its eco-friendly 50-series, namely 20-inch BX2050, 21.5-inch BX2250, 23-inch BX2350 and 24-inch BX2450. All models are super thin measuring less than three quarters of an inch in thickness and delivering under 95 percent coverage of the sRGB color gamut.
The 20-inch model offers a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels only, a 5ms response time and is equipped with VGA and DVI-D inputs. While the three larger models, 21.5, 23 and 24-inch offer full HD 1080p resolutions and faster response time of 2ms. They also have two HDMI inputs, a VGA connector and an audio output.
These eco-friendly monitors will be available sometime in July 2010. The BX2050, BX2250, BX2350 and BX2450 will be priced at $229, $269, $329 and $359 respectively.
