If you’ve just got a new 27-inch iMac and you wish it to be used as a display for your PS3 or Xbox 360 game console, you’ll just need the Belkin AV360 adapter to do the conversion for you. This little adapter has an HDMI input at one end and a miniDisplayPort connector at the other end for the connection to your iMac.
The AV360 adapter converts any HDMI signal for the use at the mini DisplayPort of your Mac computers. You’ll also need a USB port on your iMac as the adapter needs it for its power. The major downside of this adapter is it accepts full HD 1080p signal but it’s only able to output at a max of 720p. Other than this, the $150 price tag also sounds little expensive for most people.
