
Toshiba has also announced a mini dual-screen notebook called the Toshiba Libretto W100 and is claimed to be the first of its kind that packs dual screens (one on top and one at the bottom). The device comes in a clamshell form factor which has two 7-inch touchscreens, and it runs Windows 7 OS.
The Toshiba Libretto W100 doesn’t have a physical QWERTY keyboard, it’s now been replaced with the bottom touchscreen display that will also present you a virtual keyboard for text inputs. For the notebook itself, it is powered an Intel Pentium U5400 processor, has 2GB DDR3 RAM and 62GB SSD.
It also supports WiFi, Bluetooth and 3G connectivity and weighs about 819 grams. The device packs a battery that lasts up to 3 hours of operation. It also comes with the ReelTime software that will allow the users to drag files to a virtual pin board. It can be used as a dual-screen tablet and a e-book reader while used in portrait mode. No price has been announced for this Toshiba device yet. Watch the clip below showing it in action.
