If you wish to shoot your own version of Avatar within your own territories, a little portable 3D video camcorder is now available from Hammacher to let you do that with ease. The pocket-sized 3D video camcorder is capable of recording 3D video at 640 x 480 pixel resolution as AVI files.
The best of this device is it has a 3 1/4-inch TFT display that allows the user to view the 3D content without needing to wear 3D glasses. The device packs two lenses and a 3-megapixel sensor that allow it to create slightly differing images which are interlaced to create 3D video. Of course, it’s also capable of recording video in 2D mode for playback on players capable of 2D playback only.
If you use a 4GB SD card you can record up to 4 hours of video, or you can also store up to 2,000 still images in JPEG format. If you want one, just hit the “Buy Now” button below but it’ll cost you $600.
