Thanks to LG, which has announced their first solar hybrid residential air conditioner in their product lines, called the LG F-Q232LASS
The LG F-Q232LASS air conditioner comes with a solar panel mounted on top, allowing it to absorb solar energy to produce 70 watts of power per hour to enable its air purification function. It does not only help save your bills it also reduces approximately 212 kg of carbon dioxide in span of ten years, which also helps the environment.
The figure might not sound much but with increasing number of households switching to using the solar hybrid air conditioners, the figure will be significant over years. And it definitely helps reduce the stress of the current environmental conditions, which is equivalent to planting 780 pine trees over the same period.
