An official source says that Microsoft has confirmed the new Xbox 360 to be coming in the fall with a price of $199. This new Xbox 360 is meant to replace the current version, $149 Arcade, which is no longer in production.
Microsoft also said that Kinect would be available as a stand alone device and as part of the bundle with the new Xbox 360. But no details about the pricing yet. But it’d likely be somewhere close to the earlier announcement of Kinect bundles such as an Arcade bundle for $299 and an Elite bundle for $399.
