Samsung has announced a new 512GB SSD which comes with Toggle Mode NAND that allows the battery life of notebooks or netbooks to be extended by an hour while compared to traditional storage. The SSD is definitely useful for notebooks, especially for users on the run, who can hardly find a power outlet to charge their notebooks.
The new Samsung 512GB SSD is expected to start appearing in new Samsung’s premium notebooks. It also offers high speeds of data transfer, with read and write speeds of 250MB/s and 220MB/s respectively. No price has been announced for this new SSD, but we believe it’ll add significant cost to the notebooks that are going to use it.
