
Toshiba has announced a number of new laptops in its T200 series which come in relatively affordable price tags for the US market. These laptops have been shown off at Computex in Taiwan but their prices for the US will come relatively affordable that will start at $470.
The Toshiba Satellite T215 is a laptop with 11.6 inch screen that boasts 1366 x 768 pixel of resolution. It offers a choice of single or dual-core AMD Athlon II Neo processor, an ATI graphics card and weighs about 3.3 pounds. It also has 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, and runs Windows Home 7 Premium. The Toshiba T215 laptop will be priced around $469 for the single-core and $499 for the dual-core version.
The other Toshiba laptop in the T200 series is the Toshiba Satellite T235, which weighs about 3.9 pounds, packs a 13.3 inch screen and it’ll offer a choice of AMD Neo or an Intel Pentium Dual Core U5400 processor. The AMD version will run you at $549 while the Intel CPU model will run you at $629. The Intel-CPU version also has longer battery life on a charge that lasts up to 9 hours while the AMD version lasts up to 6 hours only.
