The Samsung Galaxy Beam will hit Singapore in July and is expected to have a broader launch in Asia and also Europe. This Android phone has a built-in DLP pico projector and will run Android 2.1 as the OS.
The handset also supports 7.2Mbps HSPA connectivity on 900/1900/2100MHz and quad-band GSM/EDGE. Some other goodies include WiFi N, Bluetooth 3.0, an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with flash (front: VGA) and a HD video recording, TV out, aGPS, FM radio and an 1,800mAH battery.
The specs at a glance are shown in the picture below but there is a little confusion of its memory which is listed as “4Gb + 2Gb + 1Gb + 16Gb MoviNAND” and some more no mention if it has a microSD card slot.
