Logitech HD Pro C910 is the first USB 2.0 webcam that is capable of recording video at 1080p full HD. You can also have video chats over most IM software and the Logitech Vid HD at 720p HD. But of course, to make video calls at 720p, you’ll also need an Internet connection that allows at least 1Mbps upload speed, in order to enjoy comfortable speed while streaming video during the video chat session.
The full HD recording capability of the HD Pro C910 is handy for you to record videos for uploading to FaceBook and YouTube. The HD Pro C910 uses a Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz with 2GB RAM which also works as the video compressor. There isn’t an onboard H.264 encoder on this webcam, which is simply because of Logitech wanted to make its cost low.
The HD Pro C910 is similar to other high-end Logitech webcams, having a Carl Zeiss optics lens with autofocus to boost the video clarity. It also includes goodies such as face recognition login, avatar video effect; noise-canceling with the mic located on both sides. It’s now available on Logitech store for a price of $100
