
Following Google Nexus One and some 2010 HTC phones, the next phone that will get the Android 2.2 Froyo update is the T-Mobile myTouch 3G. The update will also include enhanced Faves Gallery, Genious Button app, and full Exchange support.
For the myTouch 3G users, this should be a pretty exciting piece of news. It was just early May, when T-Mobile’s VP of Product Innovation Andrew Sherrard gave hope for a 2.1 update. Since the 2.2 has been made available, it’s a good idea to skip 2.1 and leap to 2.2.
