The LuminAR is a project of an MID student who has the idea of computers do not have to come in the regular form factors we see today. The LuminAR actually consists of a desk lamp and the LuminAR bulb, which is a wireless computer in tiny form factor. It has a pico projector and a camera and is able to project an interactive interface on any surfaces.
In the video below, the LuminAR bulb is fixed in a robotic desk lamp, which is able to detect surfaces that are not cluttered and project an interactive interface on the spaces, where the users can touch to launch applications. The LuminAR bulb can also be fixed onto any other light fixture to project the interface on your work desk.
