Appular unveils HTML 5-based Hand of Greed iPhone game

The iPhone 4 has been announced with overwhelming activities. But it’s not 4G, has no 4G (LTE/WiMax) network support, which might have given you some disappointment. Anyway, putting aside the iPhone 4, lets look at a game that has been launched for the iPhone by New York-based Appular – Hand Of Greed, it’s the first game title that offers HTML 5-based demo version for the iPhone.

HTML 5 will be useful as “the future of app discovery and promotion”, which allows not-too-complex game to be embedded in an iPhone app or game, allowing a new channel to reach app and game buyers. So, while you’re launching a game or an app you’ll have an option to try out some other titles.

For the Hand Of Green game, the HTML 5 also adds identical touchscreen controls, fluid animations, and the “same dynamic lighting effects” as the native iPhone app. This demo version is free and it’s playable within another iPhone app or game, which actually instantly presents a web page that contains the HTML 5-based demo version of the Hand Of Greed. The native app actually costs $0.99 and is available on iTunes.
