The Valve’s Steam PC online game and download service has now been made available for Mac users. Previously the online game was only available for PC gamers, which has got 1,000 games and 25 million user accounts. The good news is they’ve made this service available for Mac computers, so Apple Mac users will have a wider selection for games.

Most netbooks are powered by the Intel Atom processors but the LinkBook 8.9-inch netbook is exceptional, it’s powered by a FreeScale PowerPC processor. The company behind the LinkBook 9-inch netbook is a South African company. The PowerPC processor isn’t anything new, it’s a processor that had been used by Apple for its Mac computers until a few years ago.

HTC has announced their latest Android smart phone, HTC Wildfire, a smart phone that runs the Android 2.1 OS and features the HTC Sense UI. The Wildfire packs a 3.2 inch capacitive QVGA touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera backed by a built-in LED flash and auto-focus. And it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.

Advanced Merchant solutions have got a Bluetooth credit card payment system which allows business men on the run to accept credit card payments from their customers using their Android smart phones.
The system is called Pocket Verifier Professional for Android, has a built-in receipt printer, so you can print receipt on the spot after the credit card has been swiped successfully using the system.
The device connects to the Android smart phone via Bluetooth. The swiping device and printer are called the Pocket Spectrum plus and interfaces with the Pocket Verifier application that runs on your Android device.
