HP Hurricane tablet runs webOS

HP and Microsoft had plan to roll out the HP Slate tablet, a tablet that was first set to run Windows 7 and would be a major competitor for many tablets in the market. But the recent buying over of Palm by HP, seems to have led to a new decision by HP i.e. the HP Slate has been shelved. And the company now plans to roll out another tablet that runs the Palm webOS and called the HP Hurricane instead of the HP Slate.

Sony VAIO P gets upgraded with 8-inch screen, accelerometer

Toshiba world’s lightest 13-inch laptop

What I like about a netbook is it’s ultra lightweight but the screen size of 10 inches is sometime too small for some applications. But if you carry a notebook with a 13-inch screen size, it’ll definitely weigh more than 1 kg and is even much heavier with the battery on.
