HTC promises all its smart phones launched in year 2010 to get the Android 2.2 update. The HTC Desire has been known to be getting its Android Froyo 2.2 update on June 23. And more HTC phones should be in the queue soon, getting their updates.
The impatient ones who can’t wait for a couple of months to get the official Android 2.2 update, may wanna try on the riskier side, trying to port the Android 2.2 on your own HTC phone. A video has shown up, which shows an HTC Magic has been unofficially ported with the Android 2.2.
