While you’re left with only HD displays or HDTVs in your inventory, you’d very likely need an adapter that is able to convert the output of your Wii game console to HDMI, so you could have game play on an HDTV or HD display. Here comes the Wii2HDMI, a little adapter that converts the Wii output to HDMI.
Unfortunately, the Wii game console is able to output at max resolution of 480p, so you’ll not be able to get the full HD quality on the display even it’s hooked up to an HD display.
The little adapter would be useful when lower-resolution displays or TVs have completely phased out, leaving you with HD displays only. It’d also be useful for DVI monitor which has no component input.
