
The Vietnamese sites seem to always have their first hand on a number of upcoming Apple gadgets. After the iPhone 4G prototype, another Vietnamese website, Tinhte.vn, managed to get hold of an iPod Touch that has a 2-megapixel camera at the back and it seems to be the next generation of iPod Touch that Apple will likely roll out.
A video is included below showing a demonstration of this new iPod Touch. The iPod Touch in the video appears as it’s still in the diagnostic mode, similar to the iPhone 4G but still presents very little usable graphical interface. There seems no interface to access the camera function but the screen packs various icons for other functions and an icon for video feed.
Apparently, the iPod Touch is not a final model, where a “DVT-1″ stamp on the back makes it clear that it’s just a test unit in the evolution of product testing. And this is likely not the final design that Apple would likely announce on June 7th. Watch the clip below.
