Hitachi has added a new 42-inch LED HDTV, L42-XP05, into its Wooo XP05 series HDTV range. The 42-inch HDTV tops at full HD resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels. The Hitachi TV has the ability to reduce unnecessary glare and sharpen the picture expressions.
The Hitachi TV has image engine that incorporates the “Picture Master FULL HD2” and uses image recognition processing to adjust brightness accordingly for every scene and power consumption. It also packs other goodies such as “advanced dynamic contrast”, “color limiter”, “3 dimensional digital color management” and resolution technology, pixel manager.
This HDTV also has an internal hard disk drive of 320GB that offer lots of space for recording and it features an iVDR-S slot to allow you to record to external media. It also lets you record two different channels at the same time while watching the 3rd channel. It supports various popular video codecs and DLNA for home sharing.
Other goodies include memory card slot, a wide range of input and output ports such as HDMI, D4 input, S2 image input, 3 composite inputs and 3 analog audio inputs, a monitor output, optical digital voice Ethernert and headphone port etc. The Hitachi 42-inch LED TV carries a price tag of $2,700 and will start selling in Japan in June.
