
HTC has announced their latest Android smart phone, HTC Wildfire, a smart phone that runs the Android 2.1 OS and features the HTC Sense UI. The Wildfire packs a 3.2 inch capacitive QVGA touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera backed by a built-in LED flash and auto-focus. And it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.

The HTC Wirefire is powered by a lower-end 525MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor, loaded with 384MB RAM, 512MB flash storage, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. This Android phone also follows one of the latest trends in smart phone, packs social networking capabilities, loaded with the HTC’s Friend Stream app, allows you to hook up to Twitter and Facebook with ease for sharing your photos, videos and information and staying up-to-date of what your friends are up to etc.
The address book of this Android phone also keeps a thread of your recent communications with that contact, which you can view what you last spoke, recent texts and emails from the contact and the person’s social network updates. The HTC caller ID is linked to the social network updates of the contacts in the phone’s address book; when a person calls, it displays their Facebook updates etc.
The HTC Wildfire will go on sale in Asia and Europe sometime in Q3 of 2010 and be available in a number of colors. There in no word on pricing yet.
