June was usually the month reserved for the iPhone for AT&T. But June of 2010 will have a different phone, the BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider, to be exclusively launched on AT&T. The launch date of the BlackBerry 9800 slider will likely slip towards the middle or end of June. And a CDMA version of the 9800 will also be available sometime in Q4 via Sprint.
The BlackBerry 9800 is the first BlackBerry device that combines a touchscreen and a physical QWERTY keyboard. It should also pack a trackpad and other controls and with a 480×360 touchscreen. It’ll also come equipped with wireless n WiFi connectivity, a 5-megapixel camera and run the latest BlackBerry OS 6. BGR also claims that AT&T has placed a huge order, will have more than 1,000,000 units waiting for you.
