The iComm iPhone app has been specially designed to help the disabled or those who’re unable to express themselves verbally to communicate effectively. The iComm iPhone app was developed by a father, Martin Brooks and first intended for helping his daughter, who’s been suffering from born with cerebral palsy, so she could communicate with her parents or other care givers effectively.
The iComm app allows Brooks’ daughter, Mia to express herself verbally, tell her parents or her care takers what she actually needs by pointing out the pictures of food, activities, toys and other day-to-day themes on the iPhone screen by using her eyes.
The iComm app has been downloaded by more than 1,300 people since it was made available on Apple app store since March this year. The basic version of the iComm is free and also available for the iPad. The full version is priced at £16 or $24 usually but is currently set at an offer price for only £1.79 or $2.65.
