HP and Microsoft had plan to roll out the HP Slate tablet, a tablet that was first set to run Windows 7 and would be a major competitor for many tablets in the market. But the recent buying over of Palm by HP, seems to have led to a new decision by HP i.e. the HP Slate has been shelved. And the company now plans to roll out another tablet that runs the Palm webOS and called the HP Hurricane instead of the HP Slate.
The HP Hurricane will be launched sometime in Q3 of 2010. No details yet have been announced about the hardware specs of the HP Hurricane such as what processor it’s powered by, the amount of RAM, storage, and connectivity etc. The only information we have is it’ll run webOS. But more information should come its way soon.
