The Google TV isn’t just a rumor, it seems quite real that Google is working on their Google TV. And the hardware manufacturers that are likely to work with Google are Sony, Logitech and Intel. Google should be ready to announce more details about the Google TV sometime this month.
If you wonder what Google TV is about, rumors claim that the Google TV will be a TV that can stream Internet TV and it’s Android-based, powered by an Atom chip and with the Google Chrome browser. Or it could come in the form of a set-top box branded by Google. The Google TV should come loaded with software applications that allow you to search Internet, stream Internet videos and lets other Internet contents delivered right to your TV sets.
All these are not just rumors. But chances are that the Google TV will get announced with details at the two day Google conference in San Francisco starting on 19th May, where Google usually demonstrate new products.
