Samsung has also jumped on the bandwagon of making Android tablets. Their Android tablet that is currently being developed is the Samsung S-Pad which will come equipped with a 7-inch super AMOLED display and run the Android OS.
Samsung S-Pad tablet will be launched sometime in August and be first released in Samsung’s home market, S. Korea. It’s the first tablet that comes equipped with a Super AMOLED display, the same display that has been featured on a number Samsung smart phones, such as the Samsung Galaxy. The S-Pad is also expected to have WiFi, 3G, USB and access to Samsung apps.
There is no word on the pricing. The S-Pad isn’t the first tablet made by Samsung, as Samsung already has a number of tablets, and the latest is Samsung Mondi (pictured above) which runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and is equipped with QWERTY and WiMax. The S-Pad is most likely made to follow the recent trend of developing Android tablets by a number of manufacturers.
