It’s time for Google to ready a tablet based on their Google Android OS to combat the iPad. It seems that Google is planning on a tablet-like device that will exclusively run Android. And it’ll be like the iPad and is more than a web surfing device.

Motorola has announced 3D processing software for their cable set-tops, which will provide 3D capability to detect 3D signals and switch to 3D automatically. This eliminates the hassle of needing the users to use the remote control to change from 2D to 3D, every time a channel change involves 2D to 3D switching.

Nokia has unveiled a trio of new smart phones, the Nokia C3, C6 and E5 phones, which come with a QWERTY and with two (C3 and E5) of them looking similar to the BlackBerry handsets. And the C6 features a slide-out QWERTY. Apparently, these three phones are targeted to users who love messaging, which follow the success steps of a few of Nokia’s earlier models, Nokia E71 and Nokia E63 and with tight integration with social networking sites.

Dell is prepping two 3G smart phones, the Mini 3T1 and Mini 3iX, which have been spotted on Chinese mobile regulator TENAA’s website. The Dell Mini 3T1 is pictured above, is a 3G smart phone that packs two 2-megapixel camera, with one on the front and the other one on the back. The phone supports HSPA connectivity and uses the Chinese 3G standard. The handset also runs a modified version of Android, called Ophone.

The E-Ink watch is now available on Hammacher store for a price tag of $110
. This e-Ink watch shows time in either digital/analog combined or digital-only mode. While it works in the combined mode, an analog dial is shown at the top which represents the hour, whereas the minute is shown at the bottom. While it’s in digital mode, it’ll show numerical hour at the top and the minutes beneath.

Asus has added a new nettop, Eee Box EB1007 to its product line. The Eee Box EB1007 presents some similarity to other nettops, which Asus has launched over the past two years. But this new nettop is powered by the Intel’s Atom Pine Trail processor, which is the only difference from other Asus nettops.
