Asus Ares 5970 graphics card combines two 5870 graphics

Asus has announced their latest graphics card, Asus Ares 5970, similar to ATI Radeon HD 5970 which uses two 5870 graphics cards in one. This new Asus graphics card actually looks bigger than the usual graphics card. The Asus Ares 5970 graphics uses two 5870 graphics with their full power and speed, unlike the ATI Radeon 5970 which has the two 5870 cards slightly underclocked.

Boxee TV app for iPhone and iPad?

Boxee, the service that brings Internet videos to your living room TV, is rumored to be developing Internet video streaming application for the iPhone and iPad. The rumor comes from the company’s recent job posting, looking for an iPhone/iPad app developer, who is an Objective C expert and has had at least one iPhone or Apple app published, to be the first member of their mobile app development team.

Boxee started out as an open source software, has developed abilities to stream Internet video to your TV, play contents on your hard drive as well as playing contents from other sources like Hulu, YouTube, NextFlix, Picasa etc. Like social media sites, Boxee also allows the users to share what they like and what they’re watching with other Boxee users.

Toshiba to launch Android and Windows 7 slate tablets

Since the launch of Apple iPad, there have been a number of manufacturers follow the step to produce slate tablets. One of them in the run is Toshiba, which is now prepping some tablets that will either run Android or Microsoft OS. These Toshiba tablets will finally come in two different flavors, which some of them run the Windows 7 and some on Android.

OCZ 1TB Colossus desktop SSD

OCZ has added a new 1TB version to its Colossus desktop SSDs, which now makes the OCZ Colossus SSDs available in four storage capacities, 120GB, 250GB, 500GB and the new 1TB. SSDs offer high data read and write speeds but their storage capacities are far behind what hard disk drives can offer.
