The Canadian mobile operator, Telus, has started offering the Motorola Backflip smart phone, the third smart phone in its lineup that is based on the Google Android OS. The Motorola Backflip features the custom Motorola UI, Motoblur.
The BackFlip packs a a 3.1-inch high-res touchscreen display, sliding QWERTY, a 5-megapixel camera, has GPS support and WiFi connectivity. The Motorola Backflip is available at Telus for a three-year service contract that costs you $250. But if you do not wanna be bound by the contract, you can purchase the phone for a price of $400 and you’ll have to go month to month for the service with Telus.
The other two Android smart phones that have been with Telus are HTC Hero and Motorola Milestone and the Motorola BackFlip is their new member here.

Immediately after obtaining the BACKFLIP in the mail I was delighted yo know I could update the new firmware. I missed the rush, and it was lucky. I’ve had the Backflip for more than a month a number of things 3 or 4 crashes inside a 30 days not undesirable for 15-20 apps open New WIFI points, as well as a bigger edge dada than earlier Nokia E61 and N93 Great that the BACKFLIP has a flex keyboard, the screen can be a bit challenging within the edges. You get 500 messages a day from Twitter, Facebook, Yaho, and who actually else yopu want. If you could have 30-60 true pals, that is a wonderful mobile phone if you have a lot more it’ll grab as well significantly details. Just a month but a great cell phone.
