iPhone will get a full 3D navigation map app which is called the Mapple 3Di and is going to be launched by Mapple Mobile in Korea. The application also uses augmented reality to provide you clearer location information for driving.
We do not have much detail about the application. The need for 3D in this navigation app and with the use of augmented reality, shall allow it to map real-life objects such as buildings and streets right on the iPhone screen, presents you what is close to the reality.
The Mapple 3Di also allows the location information to be shared between users, and it’ll update safe driving information every 2 weeks. Anyway, this application is only available in Korea for a suggested price of $55 and no indication if there is an English version of this app.
