Magic Jungle Software is developing their iPad Chopper 2 game, which needs the iPhone as the game controller. The iPhone works as a unique control pad for the iPad, where it connects to the iPad via Bluetooth. Tapping on the iPhone screen allows you to control your movements in the game.
The Chopper 2 is the first game being developed and tested which uses the iPhone as the game controller. The game shows a small chopper which is controllable by the iPhone. The game will play on the iPad screen or you can hook up to a larger display such as the HDTV via the TV out of the iPad. The Chopper 2 is the sequel for the Chopper, a game that runs on the iPhone or iPod Touch which has been downloaded for over millions of copies.
The Chopper 2 game is expected to be launched June 2010, but the developers do say it’s subject to change. The downside is you’ll need to be the owner of two Apple devices to play this game. The clips below show the game in action and how it’s played on a 42-inch HDTV.
