Bookeen’s 5-inch Opus e-reader has been upgraded, the new version is called Opus Color, which is available in 7 different colors. The Opus e-reader packs a 5-inch E Ink display with 800×600 resolution and is integrated with accelerometer.
The new Opus Color e-reader now comes with the new reading software, called Boo and it runs faster than the original Opus reader, which is even claimed to turn on instantly. Similar to the original Opus e-reader, the Opus Color is capable of reading ePUB and PDF file formats, it has a 1GB memory and offers microSD card slot for content loading. Bookeen has even lowered the price from $215 to $199.
