
MSI has announced a new stylish gaming notebook, GE600. The GE600 is a 16-inch notebook that weighs 5.9lbs or 2.7kg, which claims to be the MSI’s lightest 16-inch gaming notebook to date. The GE600 has been stuffed with a number of powerful components such as the Intel Core i5 processor and ATI Radeon 5730 graphics card, and it’s priced under $900.
The GE600′s ATI Radeon 5730 graphics card supports DirectX 11, which is best used for gaming in with intensive graphics, especially the 3D games. The Core i5 processor also saves more battery power by 15% and the notebook also features the Intel’s new Turbo Boost technology, which helps increase overall performance by 30%.
The MSI GE600 is housed in a durable scratch-resistant chassis that makes it suitable for you to carry around for gaming on the run. It has glossy black exterior and a sand accented interior with illuminated touch sensitive hotkeys. Other goodies are a 16-inch LCD screen with 1366×768 resolution, 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive 7200rpm, a 6-cell battery, Bluetooth connectivity, raised chiclet keyboard, wide touchpad and Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
