
The Nokia N8 that had surfaced as a rumor last month, has now gone official, which comes with a 12-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash support and runs the Symbian^3 as said before. The Nokia N8 is also capable of recording video at 720p and it features an HDMI output which allows you to connect it your HD displays or HDTV to playback the video.

The Nokia N8 smartphone has a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, it has 16GB built-in storage and is expandable up to 48GB via microSD memory card. The Nokia N8 is also included with the free Ovi Maps that helps you easily find your directions and is also integrated with social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
The Nokia N8 will cost €370, a pre-taxed price but will be free on contract. The US price has not been announced yet. It’ll be out in the third quarter and available in a number of colors including silver, blue, orange, green and black.
