Bayer’s Didget glucose meter connects with Nintendo DS

Bayer has made their Didget glucose measuring device capable of connecting with the Nintendo DS game console like a game cartridge. The main purpose is to get young people especially addicted gamers to always remember carrying out their own diabetes or glucose level testing.

The Bayer’s Didget glucose meter connects to the Nintendo DS or DS Lite system, where it converts the glucose test results into points on the game console, getting you more excited and to always remember carry out your own diabetes test. As those points allow you to unlock new levels, minigames, and items in “Knock ‘Em Downs: World’s Fair” – the game that comes bundled with this Didget glucose meter.

Please note that the Didget meter is a fully functional glucose meter, doesn’t require your Nintendo DS to operate. You’ll only plug it into the game console while you want your latest achievement in maintaining your glucose level to be converted into points to unlock the mentioned game.

The Bayer’s Didget glucose meter is only available in the UK and Ireland for a price of £30. It works only with the Nintendo DS and DS Lite, but not the DSi nor the 3DS.
