Dell has shown us number of Google Android-powered phones and tablets lately, and now they’ve also jumped on the Microsoft bandwagon, to start producing some WP7 smart phones. The first on their line is called Dell Lightning, which comes with a number of powerful features including a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 processor, a 4.1 inch WVGA OLED touchscreen display, and 5-megapixel camera with auto focus.
The Dell Lightning WP7 phone also packs some other goodies such as WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, accelerometer, proximity sensor, a digital compass, a microSD card slot, a headphone jack and a 1400 mAh battery. This Dell WP7 smart phone also has a slide-out QWERTY and standard Windows Phone 7 buttons below the touchscreen. It seems to be available by Q4 this year and followed by an LTE/4G-upgraded version in 2011.
