Leica V-LUX 20 camera with 12-megapixel sensor, GPS tagging and 720p video shooting

Leica V-LUX 20 camera has been officially announced. This Leica camera looks pretty much like the Panasonic ZS7 but with hotter appeal. This compact camera packs a 12-megapixel sensor with 12x zoom, is capable of 720p video recording and supports GPS geo-tagging for our photos.

Other goodies found on this new Leica camera are a 4.1-49.2mm f/3.3-4.9 ASPH lens with a focal range of 25-300mm, a powerful 12x optical zoom lens, a 3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 460,000 pixels and the attached sheet below shows the full specs. The US will get this camera in a price tag of $699, whereas UK will get it at £495 when it goes on sale in May.
