
A number of tablets have surfaced recently. If you’re a fan of the Linux OS, the newly announced Sharp NetWalker PC-T1 tablet shall be right up your ally. Sharp has announced this Linux based tablet to be available in Japan market starting next month.
The Sharp NetWalker PC-T1 tablet comes packed with an 800MHz Freescale i.MX515 processor, a slim 8GB hard drive, 512MB RAM and a 5-inch WSVGA touchscreen display. It also supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity an runs the Ubuntu Linux OS.
It’ll be around in Japan next month for a price of around 47,000 Yen (about $500). No information whether it’ll be out of Japan, or if you have friends live there, you can get them to ship one for you.
